Right in downtown Spokane on, of course, the Main street, the Main Market is committed to offering products that are fresh, wholesome and grown the way nature intended.

Focusing on foods that are free of hormones, high fructose corn syrup and toxic chemicals, the market is member based but open to everyone. A large and varied assortment of organic and sustainable food comes from trusted, local, farmers, ranchers and fisherman. Meats are natural or organic and sourced directly from ranchers who are committed to humane standards. Eggs and poultry come from free-range chickens. Veggies are fresh and organic. Packing on all products is as environmental as possible.

The Main Market Take-Away deli includes daily fresh salads, soups and baked goods. Prepared with care they are served up to appreciative customers with a smile! The season’s best vegetables and meats are showcased here, including produce grown on their own roof.

An impressive wall of wine and bottled beer features the best of the brews from Washington state and northern Idaho. One wall of freezers provides leasable freezer space for members and another line displays organic frozen foods for purchase.

The market also offers tours of local farms to learn more about sustainable practices and meet area farmers, ranchers and processors. Cooking classes and in store demonstrations round out the markets commitment to teaching sustainability as well as offering its produces.
