Zola is unique! It’s also one of the hottest hang out places in Spokane.
Some call it hot because of the raved about happy hour with its ridiculously cheap, fabulously good Tapas and low-price-great-sippn’ drinks. The best happy hour in Spokane, they say.
The Mac n’ Cheese with hickory smoked bacon and Gouda, draws devoted pasta eaters in. While Blackened BBQ Tuna, tasty Hummus, Mini Kobe Burgers and Fish tacos appeal to those who just love good bar food!
Others believe Zola rocks because of the endless variety of bands that play almost nightly.
Some claim it’s sensational because of the décor. Housed in the historical 1909 Longbotham building, Zola’s two story lounge features an urban industrial look, artfully captured with recycled materials used in extraordinary ways. One wall is “shingled” in bronzed, over lapping car license plates while just across the room lies the hull of a sail boat, rotated on its side and lined with inviting, padded seating.
Many find the cozy nooks and crannies a great place to converse with a small group of friends or curl up with one significant other. Summer time and the fun erupts out on to the front sidewalk New York café style.
But EVERYONE raves about the tilt-a-whirls! Yeah, tilt-a-whirls, those 1940 spin abouts that have now been recycled into intimated little booths that hang out from the second story over the main lounge below. Get to Zola's early in the evening as these little seating sites fill up quick and nobody wants to give them up once they're seated!
Why is Zola one of the most talked about lounges in Spokane and draws a crowd of all ages? You’ll just have to go and see for your self!
