Walking into "The Artist's Tree
Gallery/Boutique" is like walking into an eclectic art wonderland
brimming with explosions of color, pattern and texture. From the
outside you are not sure what to expect, but as soon as you walk
inside, its apparent that it is a respite from the mundane. The
space feels inviting and laid back. Canvases line the upper walls,
or are leaning up from the floor - unique pottery, wire baskets,
mosaics, metal sculpture, art glass, hand crafted glass, selected
art prints and cards- are the featured work of both local and regional
artists.
Nestled into this nook of creativity, you will also find an array of
affordable gift items, home decor, exotic fashion accessories and wearable
art. Co-owners, Michele Mokrey and Alesha Carlander, who both share their
passion for art, are all about holding a space for artists to showcase
their art and remind us that we have a wealth of gifted artists in our
own backyard. Ask about their "art circles" where participants
can explore their own creativity.
