When Dorothy headed for the Land of Oz, one of the places she really wanted to stop was the creative little store called Tinman Too! Unfortunately for Dorothy but extremely lucky for all the children in Spokane, this wonderful children’s store is here in Spokane’s Garland District not in the imaginary distant land of Oz!

This arty little place is designed to provide a wonder-packed, creative experience in literature and art for children. Bright and colorful inside, children are immediately intrigued with the array of quality children’s books, puzzles and games. All carefully guarded by stuffed dragons and flying book-birds.

In addition to a great selection of hand-picked books, they also have workshops and classes to give children a hands-on experience with art. The classes are taught by locally acclaimed artists who have years of experience both as artists and teaching children.

The classes are a fun way to introduce art materials, the art making process and the learning of basic formal art elements. Children will be inspired to create works of art, using drawing, painting, sculpture and collage. From sculpture and doll making to card making and Claytime, your child will have fun, be creative and take home their own version of a masterpiece!
